Teaching

I’m a philosopher at the University of Colorado Boulder. I work primarily in metaphysics and related issues in logic, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science.

Before coming to Boulder I was a professor in the philosophy department at Yale University and a research fellow in the fundamentality project at the Australian National University.

I got my PhD at Cornell University and my undergraduate degree at UNAM. I spent a significant amount of time at UC Berkeley in my student years — two in grad school and two in undergrad.
